The BPS Solid State Call Indication system does not have any coil. The call is sensed by an electronic circuitry that activates an LED to indicate the call station number. Constant or repeated call signals do not affect its internal working. A push on the indicator board can reset the call. It has a soft tone buzzer that sounds for a pre-set duration upon receipt of each call signal. these indicators match the sophistication and decor of the place. As there are no Moving parts, and Coil, these are devices and are Installation. These can replace the conventional call indicators without any major changes in wiring. Special models with Sealed Maintenance Free. batteries and built-in CC/CV chargers are available. Non-attendance Timer Digital Display, Single Reset, Remote Reset, and Battery Backup are also available.
How It Works:
- Input Signal Detection: The SSCI is connected to the communication system (like a phone switch or VoIP system) and detects specific electrical signals that indicate a call status (e.g., incoming, on hold, or active).
- Signal Processing: The input signal is processed using solid-state components such as transistors, diodes, or microcontrollers. These components convert the electrical signal into a readable output, such as turning on an LED.
- Control Logic: Some SSCIs are programmable or use microcontrollers to determine different signaling patterns, allowing them to indicate multiple states (e.g., a steady light for an active call, a flashing light for an incoming call).
Benefits of Solid State Call Indicators:
- Durability: Solid-state devices have no moving parts, making them more durable and less prone to failure.
- Efficiency: They consume less power than traditional indicators that use mechanical or incandescent components.
- Compactness: Solid-state devices can be much smaller, allowing for more compact and integrated designs.
- Speed: They react faster than mechanical systems, providing quicker and more accurate feedback.
