Series PABD chargers are transformer-based, with a Diode/ SCR bridge rectifier having a Constant Current / Constant Voltage (CC / CV) mode of charging. A heavy-duty double copper wound transformer ensures galvanic isolation from the mains of the battery and, hence, is fully safe. I C Controlled voltage monitoring circuitry constantly checks the firing angle of SCR concerning zero crossing and desired voltage and current thus ensuring CC CV control. Till the battery is fully charged, it is under BOOST mode ensuring quick charging. When the battery reaches the preset voltage, it is shifted to float mode. These charges have digital Volt and Amps meters for instant reading of battery voltage and charging current. It has protection against overload; Hi-Temperature & Battery reverse connection. Input and output fuses are provided as additional features.

Introducing SMPS Battery Charger – SR4

BPS Make SMPS Battery Charger- SR4 is designed for charging a 6/12/24 Volt battery @ max 20 Amps. It is most suitable for electrical panels with DC sources like AMF panels and automotive batteries. It is compact ( 300 mm x 90 mm x 220 mm) and panel mountable. It has a detachable connector for easy wiring and replacement. input AC voltage range is 180-260 Volt.

The charger has an auto Boost/ Float selection. If the connected battery draws a current over 1 Amp, it starts the battery with Boost mode till the battery reaches 28.5 V. After reaching 28.5 V. it will be shifted to Float mode with 26.5 V thus keeping the battery under Float mode. It has protection for overload, Battery Reverse connection & Over Temperature protection.

Introducing Control Transformer

Control Transformers are used in switchgear and control gear to supply power to control or auxiliary equipment not intended for direct connection to the main circuit. These transformers are specifically designed to provide the control supply voltage for the control circuits of AC motor starters, i.e. Starter coils, timers, indicating lamps electronics protection relays, etc.Control Transformer
Control Transformers for contractor applications have to Energize the coil and Maintain contact for a definite period. The initial energizing of the coil takes 5 to 40 mil seconds and requires 3 to 10 times the normal current. This factor should be considered when calculating the control transformer’s VA rating.
BPS control transformers are available for single phase, two winding, with tapping of +/- 5% in the input primary side and no tapings on the secondary unless specially ordered.

Construction:

Control Transformers are two-winding transformers with both windings made of copper. Insulating materials used are class E unless otherwise specified. Power House transformers are made of using high-quality materials.
Electrolytic grade super enamel wire with the best insulations is used. Core materials are CRGO EI or Strip cores.
Experienced hands with the best machines for winding ensure the best results with minimum size. Appropriate classes of insulation materials are used. Transformers are impregnated in insulating varnish for long-lasting performance. Input and out are terminated on the Bakelite board with the proper size of terminals.

The water level MASTER CONTROLLER is to be connected with a pump or starter and reservoir tank float sensor. TX module is to be mounted near the upper tank with a float sensor. TX model senses the water level in the tank and communicates with the MASTER CONTROLLER which switches the ON/ OFF the pump as programmed.
